However, due to changing weather and wilderness conditions, we cannot guarantee that there will not be obstructions, from time to time. There is no cell service on the trail. Please be prepared.

It is essential that you be accompanied by an experienced hiker who knows the trail system well. It is also acceptable to use the trail if you are accompanied by a hiking guide, or certified hiking leader.

Registered Hikers are required to notify the Sentier Nepisiguit Mi'gmaq Trail office once they have exited the trail. Failure to report your departure may result in unnecessary search and rescue efforts by the RCMP and the Chaleur Ground Search and Rescue.

Once you leave the trail contact the SNMT at (506) 252 3171 or by email info@migmaqtrail.ca
