Trail Update

Public Announcement
The Sentier Nepisiguit Mi'gmaq Trail organization would like to inform the public that the hiking trail is not officially open until June 1, 2022.
**A friendly reminder to our hiking friends, especially hikers from south of the Province.**
We had a trail report today that sections from mid trail to Mount Carleton Provincial Park still has at least 2 feet of snow in the woods. People working in the area are still using snowmobiles and snowshoes to access roads and trails.
Roads Closed until further notice
Access roads are still officially closed by the Province of New Brunswick. Taylor Brook Road which accesses points E to L is closed due to soft road conditions (mud) from melting frost, making the roads dangerous and not passable in some places.
Please follow our website and social media for updates.
Thank you,
Jason Grant, Trail Master.

Access A-B Trailhead to Bridge street temporarily closed

Public Notice.

Please be advised that a short section of trail is closed until further notice starting at Daly Point trail head to Bridge Street.
We will be constructing a bridge over the flooded section later this month. We ask all hikers to use the detour between Bridge Street and Carron Drive.
